Christina Parle (2027 Gehring Academy Chair) (she/they) – Christina’s work is where high-level strategy meets human connection. An educator and thought leader at heart, Christina specializes in the “how” of designing systems, policies, and curricula that actualize a culture of belonging. With over a decade of experience in student support and accountability, her expertise lies at the intersection of conflict resolution and effective communication. Christina helps organizations build environments that don’t just talk about accountability but embody it. When CP isn’t unlearning, disrupting, and evolving, she can be found eating sunflower seeds and drinking her matcha, while catching up on her favorite tv shows. CP is a loyal Kansas Citian, Broadway show enthusiast, and a dog mom to Nugget.
Dr. Sarah McDowell (2027 Gehring Academy Assistant Chair/2028 Gehring Academy Chair) (she/her) is a student affairs leader, educator, and scholar with more than 20 years of experience in higher education. She currently serves as Vice Provost of Student Affairs and Dean of Students at Lebanon Valley College, where she provides leadership across a broad portfolio of student support and engagement areas. Sarah’s professional work focuses on student conduct, belonging, relationship-centered approaches to accountability, and creating campus environments where students can thrive. A longtime member of the Association for Student Conduct Administration, she previously served on the ASCA Board of Directors and as a track coordinator for the Donald D. Gehring Academy.
