Senior Student Conduct Professionals

The Senior Student Conduct Professionals track is designed for practitioners who wish to focus on the complex issues and topics germane to leadership of student conduct work. This track is appropriate for directors and other seasoned conduct and adjacent professionals, including deans of students and senior student affairs officers (e.g., Assistant/Associate/Vice President for Student Affairs) with student conduct in their portfolio.

  • Discuss emerging trends and topics in student conduct relevant to participant needs.
  • Consider how to address issues related to expressive freedoms and campus protests.
  • Apply emerging and advanced law and policy to student conduct policies and procedures.
  • Develop supportive plans and strategies for when student behavior concerns- or decisions about student behavior- are scrutinized publicly.
